Over 7,000 fans packed the OK Corral Western Club to catch the official Tribute to Emilio, David Farias Y La Tropa F and Tremendos V. The support for Tejano and Conjunto in Mexico is on another level.
Tremendos V closed out the show and took the stage at 2 a.m., and the energy was electric. T5 was the headliner and main attraction on Friday night. For those of you who don't know, in Mexico, Conjunto and Tejano are not considered different genres. It's all considered Tejano, and the support is incredible.

Isaac De Los Santos is retiring.
The reason for the final show is the retirement of lead singer and bajo player, Victoria, Texas-born Isaac De Los Santos. While he is retiring from music, that doesn't mean that you won't see him pop up in a studio session or maybe a random guest appearance. He has had an incredible career in the industry!
Isaac's musical journey in absolutely incredible.
His musical journey includes Tremendos V, one of the most recognized Conjunto bands of all time: Jimmy Lee Y Tentatzion, Grupo Rey, Invicto, Los Garcia Brothers, The Hometown Boys, Nick Villarreal, and many more. De Los Santos also had the pleasure of jamming with the legendary Flaco Jimenez and also played at his celebration of life ceremony.
Isaac De Los Santos was inducted into the Tejano Roots Hall of Fame in 2023 and has been a part of the Tejano/Conjunto industry for over 40 years. De Los Santos was born right here in our hometown of Victoria in 1975 and became well known in the area for playing with Mariachi groups, and he found his way to Tejano and Conjunto music.
