When you’re a part of the biggest blockbuster franchise of the hour, what do you do on your time off? Well, if you’re Chris Evans, you set up a secret escape room and prank people into yelling “Hail Hydra!” in public places.
Now that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has arrived in theaters, it’s time to start looking forward to another epic superhero battle. Captain America: Civil War hits theaters in just over a month, and though this international trailer features familiar scenes, it also offers some new footage, including a special moment between Black Widow and Hawkeye.
It’s well-documented at this point that Marvel movies take no cue from the multiple TV tie-ins, most always the other way around, though Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3's worldwide introduction of Marvel’s Inhumans seemed at least potentially worth a mention. Not so, apparently, as Captain America: Civil War’s writers had no awareness of the TV branch in crafting Cap’s international adventure.

You probably also knew that Diamond Select had a set of new figures coming to the Marvel Select line based on Captain America: Civil War, including a new Winter Soldier, Captain America and Iron Man. Those three won't be the only Civil War stars getting new Marvel Select figures though.
This week, new Black Panther and Captain America Marvel Select figures were revealed. Though they won't be based on the incarnations from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, any time we can get a new Black Panther figure is a good one. Even though it's not a direct tie-in to another movie, this Captain America figure will bring Steve Rogers one closer to Spider-Man for the record of most Marvel Select figures. Bucky and Black Widow will see re-releases of previous Marvel Select figures, too, but it's really all about the all-new Cap and T'Challa.
'Captain America 2' will soon hit theaters this April, bringing Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to Washington, D.C. to take on a new shadowy threat. But first, Marvel comics will fill in the blanks on what the Cap has been up to in between the big 'Avengers' battle in NYC and his next run against 'The Winter Soldier.'
