Metal god Rob Halford is the latest to comment on the Chick-fil-A controversy. A firestorm erupted when the fast food chain’s president, Dan Cathy, expressed his opposition to gay marriage in a radio interview. As a result, there has been some public outcry and protests of the chicken chain across the country.

That old adage “Don’t ask me, I just work here” certainly applies to the Chick-fil-A controversy, where the fast food chain’s financial support of anti-gay organizations has become a cultural hot topic.

The creators and founders of the Muppets, the Jim Henson Company, are the latest to sever ties with Chick-fil-A over the fast food chain’s public stance on gay marriage.

For those of you who didn’t know (which might actually be all of you), last Friday the 13th was Cow Appreciation Day. It was a day dedicated to showing your love for the majestic cow by dressing up in a head-to-toe cow costume. We’re still perplexed as to how this actually benefits these animals, but regardless the fast-food joint Chick-fil-A was very into this weird holiday.
