Tejano Artist Juan P. Moreno is Battling Chronic Pancreatic Disease

In my opinion, Juan P Moreno is a Bajo player of Legendary status! I was a fan of him the first time I saw him take the stage with Jaime Y Los Chamacos. He is a key reason that Los Chamacos became THE #1 CONJUNTO SHOWBAND.  Since then, he has amassed a huge following in the United States and Mexico, alike.

Tejano musician  Juan P Moreno is facing a challenging battle with chronic pancreatic disease.  The news was first shared by radio personality and #PVT Podcast host Rock N Roll James Echevarria via social media. The following text was sent to Rock N Roll James from Juan P Moreno.

“I have chronic pancreatic disease, with 2 tumors on my pancreas. I have a third tumor on one of my heart arteries. I’m never going to give up. Gonna fight it. I know I have God on my side.”

Moreno has traveled to Austin, Texas where is is undergoing extensive testing. After testing, he will be referred by MD Anderson.  Rock N Roll James posted Juan P Moreno's CashApp information for anyone wanting to help

Juan P Moreno was nominated for Best Tejano Album at the 53rd GRAMMY Awards in 2011. He has also recently released a collaboration with AJ Castillo with a single entitled "Te Recomiendo Esa Ingrata."
