Throwback Thursday: The David Lee Reunion Show at the Astrodome
It's always fun to think about the good old days. Like back when Go Tejano Day at Rodeo Houston featured Tejano groups performing on stage! There were some awesome performances, including the iconic shows of Selena and La Mafia representing their hometown. However, the David Lee Reunion show might be the most iconic Tejano show at the Astrodome for Rodeo Houston.
A historical night for David Lee Garza
The show happened during the 1999 season of Rodeo Houston and was epic! It was like watching history happen in real time. All of the heavy hitters on one night. Check out the list of performers who sang that night. Marcos Orosco was the lead singer at the time of the show.

Who's that gringo performing with David Lee Garza?
David Lee Garza actually recorded a song about the Astrodome show. The title of the song had nothing to do with the show and actually is about one of their white band members, Billy O'Rourke. "Who's that Gringo?" The vocals on the song are actually Billy's. During the song, you hear a reference to the Astrodome show.
