Tejano Outlaw Band’s ‘Quiero Volver Contigo” Reclaims Top Spot on Tejano Gold Countdown
Tejano Outlaw Band's "Quiero Volver Contigo" has reclaimed the #1 spot on Rudy Trevino's Tejano Gold Countdown for the weekend of May 22-24. This song has already hit #1 during a four-week run, starting on April 10 and running through May 3rd. Making this the 5th week at number one. Lucky Joe held the top spot for two consecutive weeks in between with "Que Te Vaya Mal."
This has become a monster hit for the group, based out of the Dallas and Fort Worth metroplex. "Quiero Volver Contigo" was written and produced by Shelly Lares (LMD), CEO of ShellShock Records 3, with lyrics by award-winning songwriter Jose Rosario. I think the traditional Tejano dancing sound is the main reason for the song's success.
