Tennessee Man Faces Charges for Selling What Without a Permit??
I've heard of people selling strange things before but, this is ridiculous. A Tennessee man faces charges for selling gas without a permit. No, not gasoline, gas, as in air emitted from the human body, yes, farts.
Okay, I don't know for sure if this story is legit. I mean, it sounds pretty preposterous, right? Originally appearing on the Simpum website, which offers real stories about health, news, relationships and other real stories, this story is the strangest one I've seen in a long time.
According to the report, the unnamed man was allegedly selling farts in jars from various types of food and different ages. Police say the man had around 150 jars of the noxious odors described as 30% fart and 70% air. You have got to be kidding me.
The article goes on to say the 'gas' in the jars would be up to a week old.
People would actually pay money for this?
Okay, full disclosure. A number of other news sources also reported the story, but at least one website said it was a joke story from a parody website. It's still pretty funny to think about though.
