Tennis Star Buys World’s Supply of Donkey Cheese For Some Reason
We hate to break it to you, but we're all screwed, because the entire world's supply of donkey cheese has been bought out. We have no idea what we're going to eat now, but we do know the guy responsible for the buyout is tennis star Novak Djokovic.A Serbian farm produces the cheese, and the donkey dairy fan spent major bucks on securing all of next year's output. Why? He's planning on opening a couple restaurants in his native Serbia, and he wants donkey cheese to be the "it" factor. Also known as Pule, the stuff retails for £400 per pound, or about $642.72. Apparently donkey cheese is a delicacy over there, sort of like turkey testicles are gaining popularity in the US.
When we strike it rich, the first thing we'd buy probably wouldn't be the world's supply of mule curdles. But we sure as hell would love being rich enough to decide to blow a stack of cash on the world's supply of donkey cheese.
