The first night of the draft wasn't without surprises. The Cleveland Browns ruined poor Myles Garrett's life last night taking the Defensive End first overall but it was probably the Houston Texans that made the biggest move of the first round trading up to number 12 and taking Clemson QB Deshaun Watson giving the Texans hope at having a strong all around QB this coming season. Not only can Watson pass, but the kid is just a freakishly good athlete and has proven he can scramble when pressured. Should be interesting to see what he can do with offensive weapons DeAndre Hopkins, Lamar Miller and Will Fuller.

The Dallas Cowboys decided to go the other route last night and selected a defensive player which wasn't a surprise considering the defensive talent they have lost in the off season. They selected Defensive End Taco Charlton from Michigan with the 28th overall pick in the first round. The Cowboys are now confident they have someone who is capable of good pass rushing...something they sorely needed last season. And, in Texas, you can't go wrong with a guy named Taco right?

The NFL Draft continues through this weekend and it'll be interesting to see how the two Texas teams continue to bolster their lineups.

Stay tuned for full draft results Monday morning.
