No. 8 Texas A&M Victoria Jaguars Host Home Playoff Series

A huge congratulations is going out to our very own Texas A&M Victoria Jags for clinching their first-ever regular-season conference title. The Jags' final regular season record was 33-13 with an impressive conference record of 21-6, earning them the top seed in the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament.

The Jaguars have earned home-field advantage for the first round of the playoffs.

The Jags efforts have brought the home-field advantage for the first round of the playoffs. They will host Jarvis Christian this weekend at Riverside Stadium in a best-of-three series to determine who advances to the final site in Sterlington, Louisiana, next week.

Admission is free all weekend long at Riverside Stadium.

Game 1 of the series is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. on Friday. First pitch from game 2 will be at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. If needed, the if-necessary Game 3 is scheduled for 12 p.m. on Sunday. Get out and support our Jags. All games are free admission this weekend.

The Jaguars have been dominant at Riverside this year.

Not only have the Jags been dominant at Riverside Stadium, but they also score a lot of runs at home. The Jaguars have compiled a 20-5 record in the friendly confines of Riverside Stadium.

They have also outscored their opponents 213-108 at Riverside this year, including a 111-30 scoring edge in the last 10 games at home, which have all been wins for the Jaguars. In the 25 home games this year, the Jaguars have scored in double figures 10 times.
