A Wichita Falls man was arrested for paying his property taxes. Now, before you say "wait, what?!? it wasn't for his actually paying them or, the way in which he paid them (in $1 bills), but for the fact that he wouldn't leave the office when officials asked him to.

Naturally, there's more to the story.

27 yr old Timothy Andrew Norris went to pay his $600 property tax bill and decided he was going to pay in cash, in $1 bills, which were reportedly folded so tightly that, officials had to spend a lot of time unfolding them, as much as six minutes per bill.

Tax Assessor Collector Tommy Smith said that it was so time consuming unfolding the money, that it brought the entire office to a standstill. Morris was asked to leave, he refused and that's when he was arrested. He now faces a criminal trespass charge.

While paying your taxes in cash isn't illegal (I'm sure you've heard the stories about people paying in pennies and whatnot) it's not the smartest thing to do, even in the form of a protest.
