Texas Tech, TCU Advance in College World Series

Texas Tech took advantage of a couple of errors by top-seeded Florida to beat the Gators 3-2 in the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.

Eric Gutierrez smacked a 2-run dinger, and one play resulted in 2 errors in the 9th inning that gave the Red Raiders the win. Now 5th-seeded Texas Tech plays Coastal Carolina tomorrow night.

Meanwhile, TCU handled Coastal Carolina 6-1 last night using errors to score 3 runs, advancing to 2-0 in the series.
