The Biggest Buc-ee’s Ever Is Breaking Ground In Luling This Month

In just a few days, Buc'ees will make history. Again.

Buc-ee's, Texas' favorite roadside franchise, will be breaking ground on Nov. 17th, with plans to build the BIGGEST Buc-ee's, OF ALL TIME right outside our door in Luling, Texas.

So you might be wondering why Buc'ees would choose Luling to open the biggest store in the country, and the answer to that is likely because Luling is where Buc'ees began, 20 years ago.

According to an article from KSAT 12, “The pioneering concept of the Buc-ee’s family travel center debuted in Luling 20 years ago,” offering that Stan Beard of Buc-ee’s said in a news release. “As we continue to share the Buc-ee’s experience with the rest of the country, we are grateful for the opportunity to deepen our Lone Star roots and to keep our flagship, and the largest Buc-ee’s ever, in Luling.”

So how big will this historic Buc'ees be in Luling?

We are talking 75,000 square feet.

To put that into perspective, it would take 5 of our Victoria Community Center domes to fill the space in this single Buc'ees! Yep, our Victoria Community Center dome is just a little over 12,000 square feet.
