THROWBACK THURSDAY: Graham Central Station In San Antonio

It's time for another memory for our Tejano Nation! Who remembers going to party at Graham Central Station in San Antonio? While the club had many different room featuring multiple genres of music but it came very well known for becoming a Tejano hot spot.

Top notch Tejano Entertainment at Graham Central Station every weekend.

Every weekend featured top notch Tejano entertainment that came to include a yearly David Lee Garza reunion show that occurred during Thanksgiving week. In fact, David Lee Garza recorded one of his live albums at GCS. Even from Victoria, I would go take in the vibe at GCS in San Antonio. GCS close their doors for good in November of 2014.

There was many other Tejano hotspots in San Antonio.

There are so many more Tejano hotspots in San Antonio that are no longer with us. such as Tejano Texas and T-Town, where Emilio's live album was recorded. And yes, there was even a GCS in Corpus Christi. However, I feel that GCS had the Tejano scene on lock, back in the day. I mean it was located in San Antonio.
