Doctors in Houston are calling Jimena 'JC' Macias a miracle baby.  She was born at 22 weeks and weighed in at only1 lb. 9 oz. She was only 11 inches long. A ventilator helped her breathe and she had an IV in her umbilical cord to provide her nutrition. The power of prayer is awesome.

. As reported by KIII in Corpus Christi, JC's mom, Juana,  states, 'they pretty much told me they weren’t going to be able to resuscitate her or be able to do anything for her if she was born there, at that time, that early,”  She was immediately transferred to Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center, which has a level III NICU, to give her daughter a fighting chance.

After 112 days in neonatal intensive care, little princess 'JC' got to go home just in time to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with her family.  What a blessing from God. She is still continuing physical therapy but doctors say that she is doing great.  JC is now hitting milestones of her adjusted age, which is two months.
