When Los Palominos Music Was Featured on a TV Series

Los Palominos have been one of the biggest names in Tejano for decades so we will just add this to their list of accomplishments. The name of song is entitled "Si No Me Vas A Querer" and is off of the  "Atrevete"  album. The song was written by music producer and songwriter, Kris Domz and Jose Escamilla.  The song which came out as a ranchera on the album was actually supposed to be a cumbia. Kris Domz continues to produce music and work on various musical projects.

The name of the TV series was called "Shooter" as was available on most digital platforms.  Even though it it's just a short clip of a song. It is cool to say Tejano music was featured on a big time TV show.  See the full interview clip below.

While I was watching Selena, I caught snippets of Tejano music that wasn't Selena's music. In the 'taco stand' scene, you hear the intro to "Lagrimas" by La Tropa F. In another scene where Selena and Chris are driving in the red car after they got married, you can hear La Mafia in the background, if you really pay attention.
