Don’t Get FOMO Join Us for the Victoria Texas Art Walk Saturday
Victoria Art Walk Celebrates Two Years And This Walk Is Bigger and Better Than Ever!
Come support local artists, vendors, businesses, and events with the proceeds benefiting several non-profit entities too!
Art Walk Curator, Claire Santellana, director of Crossroads Art House is encouraging everyone to come out offering that, "Victoria has enjoyed the VTX Art Walk since June 2021 so this June completes two full years of quarterly art walks! For local artists, the art walk located in downtown Victoria has become an event to look forward to whether they are selling or just showing their art. For this art walk, Saturday, June 17th, we will have around 50 artists and 10 musicians- staples for VTX Art Walk!"
Downtown Victoria is the place to be Saturday, June 17th from 4 pm to 10 pm for the Victoria Art Walk.
There will also be a special Wine Walk featuring 5 local wineries which you will need tickets to attend, with proceeds benefitting our Main Street Program.
Our Victoria Main Street Program ensures that downtown contributes to the community’s overall quality of life by providing opportunities for economic growth as well as for entertainment and personal enjoyment.
Just think how much downtown Victoria has grown in the last few years due to the efforts of all of those who contribute to its revitalization!
If you haven't been downtown in Victoria in a while, this Saturday is the day TO GO!
The Streets are Talking Fashion Show brought to you by C & J Productions, will showcase downtown boutiques and designer Sheila Abigail as well.
Proceeds from the fashion show will be benefiting JJ”s Playground. JJ’s Make-A-Wish was a handicapped-accessible playground in Riverside Park.
Claire offers, "Other things to look forward to are kids' activities like cookie decorating at Blume & Flour, A Tiny Art Show at Victoria Public Library, and caricatures in the Plaza with Michael Sanchez. Most of all, attending the art walk helps build local artists' confidence and careers."
Local businesses have donated prizes that you have a chance of winning by collecting stamps at every stop.
Be sure to find a copy of Art House Magazine VTX to read about the event and local events and artists. The comprehensive event map will be in the center of the magazine.
"Artists, musicians, designers, make-up artists, models, event organizers, and downtown businesses have all been preparing for months for this amazing event!" Claire reminds each of us. "Hope to see you there!"
