Love brew, love animals? Well, clear your calendar this Saturday because The Texas Zoo has an event with your name written all over it. Brew at the Zoo is back for its 2nd year. The Texas Zoo will be throwing its Brew at the Zoo fundraiser this Saturday, June 19th. Those who are 21 and up can join the Zoo and all of its wild creatures, critters, and animals.

Tickets-Bundle Up and Save!

Each ticket sold will benefit the Zoo and, of course, the wonderful and radical animals they care for. Tickets are sold in singles, couples, groups, and even designated drivers can get their own unique ticket. Prices range from $50 for a single ticket and $80 per couple. Gather up a bunch of friends and buy a value pack, which covers six people, for only $175- that's about $30 per person!

What Will the Ticket Cover?

The Texas Zoo is putting on such a fantastic night. Each ticket covers so much more than the entrance to the event. When you buy a ticket get ready for a night of fun.

I honestly could've probably stopped at unlimited beer at you would have been SOLD; because I know, I was. Like the Texas Zoo says, "Drink Beer, Save Animal" I mean, say less.

Beer and Tequila-Count Me In!

Aside from beer, there will be other types of drinks to sample, like tequila. Their tequila tasting is unique. They will be sampling out bat-friendly tequila. I don't know about you, but I did not realize there was bat-friendly tequila. In fact, I didn't even know what would make tequila bat-friendly. Maybe the bats are of age to get a lil tipsy, who knows. The Texas Zoo explains, "Some tequila brands allow a portion of their agave plants to grow their tall flowering stalks for bats, which are usually removed. Bats pollinate by feeding on the nectar."

Live Music at Brew at the Zoo

While your sipping on beer or your bat-friendly tequila, you can listen to some live music. The Texas Zoo has announced that Colleen Michelle Miller and Jerry James will be performing throughout the night. Play some lawn games, drink some brew, have some fresh pizza, and have a good time knowing your helping raise money for a really good and local cause.

Legendary Guests will be Popping In

There will be various special guests popping in throughout the night. Aside fromColleen Michelle Miller and Jerry James, there will be some familiar faces from the zoo hanging out. One of the most infamous and legendary animals of the Texas Zoo will be hanging out with the guest; I'm, of course, talking about Zazu. Zazu is known for being extremely talkative and loves to mingle, although I have been around him when he needed his "me time" #same. He is hilarious, and maybe you can catch him shooting his laser guns around.
