I personally consider Grupo Asalto as a Tejano group that has been flying under the radar for a couple of years. I believe this is the year that they will take things to the next level, especially after they have started to drop songs off of their new album
Last year, Asalto gave us new music that had a fresh new vibe with elements from the past  and today. What I love about their music is that it is a vibe that speaks to our younger generation. "Te Quiero Amar" and #Tu Y Yo" have become bona fide hits.
From the songs that Asalto has released from the new album  I have already chosen my favorites. While no official radio single has been released, These are my top choices off of  the new album, "Besame" and "Gracias a Ti." The name of the new album is "Con Amor O Sin Amor...Seguiremos."

Check out lead singer, Jordan, vibin' to "Gracias a Ti." on a TikTok video from Asalto's official page.

@officialasaltoSolo existe el amor que siento yo por ti ❤️🎶 Gracias a ti hoy soy feliz♬ original sound - Grupo Asalto
Lead singer, Jordan Rodriguez has a very distinctive voice that will have an impact on Tejano music for years to come.
Asalto is the future of Tejano music.
Asalto is one of the groups of the new Tejano generation that will bridge the gap. Asalto is a loud response to the "Tejano music is dead argument" and that there is no new good Tejano music. But there are so many incredible new talented artists in our industry, and Asalto is one of them.
