Grupo Frontera to Appear on Late Night TV-Jimmy Kimmel Live

Grupo Frontera keeps continues to break barriers! Tonight, The Rio Grande Valley's very own, Grupo Frontera will be performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live. This will add to a list of impressive feats accomplished by Frontera.  Remember when Frontera played in Victoria last year? Read about it below.

Last year on Friday, October 28th, 2022 an up-and-coming, Grupo Frontera performed in Victoria at the GOAT nightclub! Less than a year later, they are performing on National TV on 'Good Morning America!" Classify them how you want! I have always considered them Tejano and Proud even though their music is considered more of a Norteno style! I consider them part of our Tejano genre because they grew up with so many Tejano influences in the Valley. We also have to remember that musical styles change over time! Grupo Frontera is the heartbeat of the RGV and represents the 956 and is making Tejano's in the State of Texas, super proud! In September, Frontera was part of the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, Grupo Frontera performed on Good Morning America! What an awesome moment for our culture! The band performed their smash hit, Un X100to, which was a collaboration with Bad Bunny! Bad Bunny was not on the set. It was all about the Rio Grande Valley boys, Grupo Frontera. This morning's performance is on top of an appearance at Coachella, and an MTV Video Music Award nomination for 'Un X100TO' alongside Bad Bunny. 15 Billboard Latin Award nominations, and three in the Billboard Top 100.
