With just a few days left in September, we know the hot topic around your house is probably about what you're going to wear for Halloween but right now is the perfect time to talk to friends and co-workers about making this year's Lighted Christmas Parade in the Crossroads, the best one yet!

One of the coolest things about living and working in the Crossroads is all the connections we make with our awesome neighboring counties and that includes their community parades too!

This means you, your family, and or your business can build one or decorate one time for the holiday parades but join multiple neighboring parades as well!

Mark your calendars for October 1st!

Sure we're heading into the spook season of Halloween, but the first day of October also marks the first day you can register with our very own Victoria Parks and Recreation for the opportunity to bring cheer and highlight the holidays and YOUR BUSINESS or your Christmas message at our annual Lighted Christmas Parade!

If you've ever considered designing a float or decorating your vehicle, this is the year to do it! Why not band together as a community and make this the best Lighted Christmas Parade the Crossroads has ever seen?

Registering is super easy! The City of Victoria offers civic alerts on their home page which you can click here, and recently they posted a reminder to mark your calendars as registration opened in just a few days on Sunday, October 1st.

"Although winter weather is still far away, residents should mark their calendars now to take part in the Christmas Parade of Lights in downtown Victoria."

Registration is free, but space is limited, so residents are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible.

The Christmas Parade of Lights will be held in downtown Victoria on Dec. 2, the first Saturday in December.
