Lucky Joe Surprises Seven-Year-Old With Birthday of a Lifetime

Over the weekend, I saw a very heartwarming video on Lucky Joe's Facebook page.  Check out the video below. I was so moved by this video that I did a little research and was able to talk with Little Charlie's mom. I love everything about this story.

Charlie was celebrating his 7th birthday and has always had a love for music, especially Spanish and Conjunto style music. A couple of years ago Charlie's mom was playing Lucky Joe on Spotify and he heard El Trunfador because that's one of her favorite songs, and he made her play it over and over again until he knew all the words.  So from that point, Charlie's mom, Elvie, mixed it up and played several songs that Lucky Joe made, and she eventually made a playlist of his songs. Charlie then grabbed his accordion and said he wanted to be just like Lucky Joe when he grows up. There isn't a song by Lucky Joe that little Charlie doesn't know!

One night Lucky Joe was broadcasting on Facebook live and at the time, 'El Palomito' was Charlie's favorite song. It was at this time that Lucky Joe requested that Charlie go live and what happened next had Charlie star-struck!  They did a duet of 'El Palomito' together.  Can you imagine singing with your idol on FB live?! He was so happy!

So after that, he asked us for a Lucky Joe-themed birthday party.  His mom told him Lucky was busy and wouldn't be able to attend and he even invited him on another Facebook live. The surprise was already set in motion.  Check out the video! As you see this is something this little guy will remember forever!

Lucky Joe gave him the full experience and allowed Charlie to play his accordions. Charlie took his brand new accordion and would switch between his and Lucky's the whole time.  Charlie's mom, Elvie, will be forever grateful to Lucky Joe for this amazing experience.
