Nine 2-Month-Old Puppies Abandoned in Cage in Brutal TX Heat

This is a very sad story out of San Antonio! The City of San Antonio Animal Care Services Facebook page posted this heartbreaking status over the weekend. Nine puppies were found abandoned in the midst of a Texas heat advisory. Now, we need your help to find them loving homes they long for.

This past weekend, Animal Care Officer Alvarado and Cadet Pusateri responded to a call from a San Antonio resident who happened upon a crate of abandoned puppies in a San Antonio side park. The residents noticed the puppies on their morning walk and waited with them until officers arrived. Once on the scene, Animal Control found the nine 2-month-old pups in a flooded crate with urine, feces, and water. The crate was in an open field away from any shelter.

After being transported to ACS the pups settled into their kennel where they quickly scarfed up 4 big bowls of food. Sandy and her 8 siblings now need homes, and we are asking our San Antonio community to volunteer as temporary fosters until Friday, October 20, 2023, for the Houston Mega Adoption Event sponsored by Petco Love! The Haunted Carwash in San Antonio is Back for 2023

Many of us learned about this haunted house last year thanks to TikTok. It was a Car Wash tunnel that transformed into a haunted tunnel and I have to say it was very well done. It looks like they are bringing it back for 2023 and amping it up a notch. I reached out to Super Spudz in San Antonio and they will be back on weekends in October! Hours will be 6-11 on Fridays and Saturdays and 6-10 on Sundays.

Super Sudz not only gives you a fright it also gives you their best car wash! Admission is $30 a car and includes the ultimate wash package that includes a triple foam wash, tire shine, undercarriage wash, carnauba wax, ceramic shine, and more. Check out the video below.
