Original Members of Xelencia to Reunite for Fan Fair Show

This weekend is one of the biggest weekends of the year for Tejano music. It's the three day weekend Fan Fair event in San Antonio. Sometimes you never know what surprises that you will get and here is one for 2025. Xelencia will reunite with its original members for a Saturday night performance at Fan Fair at 8 PM on the Civic Stage. The show will be a tribute to Jesse Peralez, who passed away in January of this year.

Jesse was a monster musician

He was known for his exceptional saxophone playing as an original member of La Mafia, one of the most iconic bands in the genre, and also played with other notable groups like Xelencia and Magnifico Siete. His passion for music was evident in every note he played, and his talent went far beyond just performing. Peralez was also a gifted songwriter, creating music that transcended the traditional Tejano sound, as reported by Tejano Nation. 

Three days of Tejano entertainment at Fan Fair 

The highly anticipated Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair 2025 is this weekend. Get ready for a weekend packed with energetic Tejano and Conjunto music! Taking place from March 14-16 at Hemisfair Park in San Antonio, Texas, this free event is set to provide a fun, family-friendly experience for all attendees.
