Tejano Star Ram Herrera Encourages Prostate Cancer Screening

Yesterday, Ram Herrera announced to the world that he has been diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. Ram posted the video to Facebook. and says that it is treatable. He shares his appreciation for all the calls and prayers. Ram just performed with Los Amigos ASG this past Saturday night in East Bernard. He also has a very important message for the men out there.

“I urge you guys that are like between 40 and 50, 60 years old, I would say about 50 years old, go get screened.”

Ram's cancer is curable

Ram, who is now 65 years old, goes into detail about his treatment. He will be going through radiation therapy, which is not chemotherapy. He will also be taking medications and making life changes, including changing his diet. We are sending our prayers and positive vibes that the treatment will cure Ram "The Man" Herrera. Ram Herrera is one tough dude

Ram Herrera is a fighter! He has also overcome pneumonia and a collapsed lung back in 2017. Not only that, he also received a bacterial infection while he was fishing. He was near death! He couldn't move and could barely talk. Ram Herrera made a full recovery.
