The Conjunto Festival Is This Weekend In San Antonio

Get ready to get your Conjunto fix this weekend in San Antonio. This year is the 44th anniversary of the Tejano Conjunto Festival, and of course, it will take place at the legendary Rosedale Park in San Antonio.

Get ready for the best Conjunto lineup in the nation.

Get ready for four days of Conjunto entertainment from Thursday, May 14, to Sunday, May 17. The lineup is stacked with some of today's hottest names in Conjunto and some of the legends.

Music starts on Friday night at 5 p.m. with Jesse Perez Y Sus Compadres. Also performing on Friday will be Las Fantasmas, Ruben De La Cruz, the South Texas Homies, and Los Garcia Brothers.

Saturday's lineup will kick off at noon with junior high and high schoolbands performing Conjunto music. Joe Castillo Y Los All Stars, Ruben Garza, Rodney Y Los Cuycuy's, Lazaro Perez, and the Krazy Pimps will also perform, and T5 will reunite for a special performance..

Sunday's music also starts at noon with more students showcasing on the main stage. It will be a very special tribute to Flaco Jimenez which will include performances from the Conjunto Cats, Los Texmaniacs, and Joel Guzman.
