The Ladies of Tejano Will Be on Showcase This Friday Night for Diva Mania

In one scene of the movie 'Selena', her mom played by Constance Marie makes a statement in the Harlingen scene. She says, 'Tejano music as all men, you know that.' I know it is only a scene in the movie. However, that is a sentiment that has, unfortunately, stood the test of time and one Texas promoter is stepping up!  Jim Luna from Quartermoon Productions presents DivaMania this Friday night. The ladies of La Onda are taking over this Friday night for Diva Mania! Diva Mania will showcase emerging female artists for the free event on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Veterans Memorial Park in Angleton, Texas. Artists scheduled to perform include Monica Saldivar, Anjelique, Savannah V, Demmi Garcia, Magali Delarosa, Karla Christina, Gabriella Martinez, and Alize Nino. . There will also be a “Million Dollar Band” under the musical direction of Mario Ortiz Jr. and JR Gomez, and an array of many great musicians consisting of an eight-piece band including two horns and a percussionist.
