There’s TONS of Stuff To Do In the Crossroads This Weekend

This weekend is packed with fun things to do with family throughout the Crossroads, ALL WEEKEND LONG!

Friday Decemeber 4th 

12 Noon- Five Points Museum- Paradigm Shift Art Car Showcase- From the whimsical to the sacred, the cars on exhibit celebrate exploration, transformation, and the expression of individual creativity. All display passion, obsessive attention to detail, and metamorphic vision. This exhibit is scheduled through the entire month of December.

12 Noon- Theatre Victoria- From Rags to Royalty-The Fabric of Theatre Victoria. Today is the last day of this incredible exhibit featuring costumes from various plays and presentations at Theatre Victoria. They are also hosting an amazing rummage sale today through Saturday to purchase props and costumes as well. 1403 N. Liberty.

1pm - Victoria Art League Christmas Bazaar- Looking for a one of a kind artisan gift? Then get to the Victoria Art League for thier annual Christmas Bazaar. This event will go through Dec. 19th but get first dibs on truly original artwork while supporting local artists. 905 S. Bridge Street.

7:30 pm-Monster Truck Monster X Tour Texana Raceway- Friday's show starts at 7:30 pm. Saturday features two shows; 1:30 pm and 7:30 pm at Texana Raceway in Edna. It's fun family entertainment just in time for the holidays! Saturday's 1:30 pm matinee is Kid's Day where all kids get a free toy while supplies last! 258 County Road Edna.

8pm- Schroeder Hall Featuring Lorrie Morgan- Lorrie Morgan has made over forty chart entries on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including three number-one singles: "Five Minutes", "What Part of No", and "I Didn't Know My Own Strength", along with eleven additional top-ten hits. Saturday Decemeber 5th 

7:30am- Keep Victoria Beautiful-  VictoriaKeep Victoria Beautiful is hosting the organization’s first community-led beautification event since its revival and integration with the City earlier this year. Join KVB and Victoria Environmental Services in their partnership with TxDOT to clean up Loop 463 and beautify the Cimarron Junction/Navarro intersection. We will meet at the Target Store Parking Lot.

9am Victoria Farmers Market- Shop local and Support LOCAL farmers. The Victoria Farmers' Market has fresh, locally grown produce, farm fresh eggs, local wine, local honey, pasture-raised meats, live herbs and other plants, baked goods, jellies, pickles, handmade items, and more. Most vendors accept credit/debit cards. 2805 N Navarro St.

10am Veteran Art Exhibit- 10 AM CST – 6 PM CST-Local Disabled Veteran exhibiting currently available original fluid art on different mediums, like ca. vas, glass. and wood. Come show support, enjoy, and if desired purchase. Will also have some boutique clothing and jewelry available for Christmas shopping.10% of all sales to be donated to American Legion Post 16. 1402 E. Santa Rosa

6pm Lighted Christmas Parade- Hosted by the CIty of Victoria Parks and Recreation at Riverside Park. You can enjoy the parade by driving through the park or watch the live stream of the Lighted Parade on Facebook at 6 p.m. on the City of Victoria page, Victoria Parks & Recreation page, and the Explore Victoria page. By watching the live stream - you'll enjoy all the benefits of staying at home and seeing the whole show including the full-length fireworks show. 501-599 Mc Cright Dr.

4pm- Winter Wonderland- Toyota of Victoria- Enter on Salem Rd. You will feel like you are entering a Winter Wonderland Land while you are driving through the event in your car, tune to KIXS 108 and listen to 2 hours of Christmas music while you enjoy the Winter Wonderland with your kids. There will be treats brought to your car! What a great opportunity to celebrate the hope of Christmas with your family. 5902 N.Navarro
