The King Has Returned

It's been a few years since the undisputed king of country music has played at Rodeo Houston and we've had our fingers crossed that he would return every year since.

George Strait will be performing on March 20th, 2022 at Rodeo Houston.

George Strait last played at Rodeo Houston back in 2019 to a crowd of over 80,00 fans breaking attendance records. That concert also marked George Strait's 30th Rodeo Houston concert performance beginning with his first performance there in 1984. According to several sources, including ABC13, "To date, Strait has entertained more than 1.7 million RodeoHouston fans." ABC13 offers. This year will be his 31st performance at Rodeo Houston!

Naturally, when Rodeo Houston announced George would be returning last month in May, fans like myself were freaking out.

Here is the Youtube video making the announcement that King George would be returning to Rodeo Houston.

When can you buy tickets to see George Strait in concert during Rodeo Houston 2022?

Well, fans, here it is, the official dates for when you can buy tickets "straight" from the Rodeo Houston website.

It's time to mark your calendars, set your reminders, or make a quick trip to San Antonio because the date is almost here. "Mark your calendars, tickets to the George Strait concert-only performance will go on sale Thursday, June 24 at 10 a.m. through AXS Ticketing via rodeohouston.com. The Online Waiting Room opens at 9:30 a.m. and customers in the Waiting Room will be randomly selected to enter the store to purchase tickets at 10 a.m." Rodeo Houston offers.

Bonus***  Ashley McBryde will be making a special guest appearance, her first at Rodeo Houston!

My heart of heart tells me, even though we are still recovering from the pandemic, King George's Rodeo Houston will break records again.

Let's fall to pieces together!
