UHV Athlete of the Week

Classification: Sophomore

Statistics for the Week: Compiled a .538 batting average going 7-for-13 in five games to help the Jaguars go 4-2 on the week. She led the team with 11 runs scored and finished with seven RBI, a double and a triple, while also drawing five walks. She did not commit an error in four chances from her shortstop position. On the season, she is hitting at a .376 clip with 35 runs and 23 RBI.

What advice would you give to a younger player about the sport you are involved in that would help them improve? To always work harder than the person next to you. Be a good teammate on and off the field and have fun..

What is your background and experience in the sport you participate in? I have played softball since 6-under. Every summer played on a competitive select team. Played four years in high school and was all-district all four years.

What is your favorite food? Chinese Food

Who is your favorite athlete? Jose Altuve

Career Ambition: Become a nurse.
