Twisted Family Conflict Leads To Man Murder Nephew In Texas

A horrific and deadly family dispute unfolded on the Westside of San Antonio Tuesday morning, leaving authorities grappling with the aftermath and uncertainties about the events leading to the tragedy.

EARLY TUESDAY FATAL SHOOTING

San Antonio Police Department reports indicate that the fatal shooting occurred in the vicinity of the 1700 block of Laven Drive at approximately 7:30 a.m.

Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement discovered a lifeless body in the backyard of a residence, revealing the grim outcome of the family conflict.

FAMILY CONFLICT LEADS TO DEATH

Details provided by the police suggest that a heated dispute erupted between an uncle and his nephew. As tensions escalated, the uncle, described as being in his 50s, drew a handgun and, in a tragic turn of events, fatally shot his nephew in the chest.

UNCLE GIVES OFFICERS FULL COOPERATION

Despite the severity of the incident, the suspect cooperated with the police and is currently in custody. The nephew, reportedly in his 40s, succumbed to the gunshot wound.
