Victoria Announces the Return of Bootfest to DeLeon Plaza
The Crossroads got some great news from the city of Victoria this week as the return of Bootfest has been officially announced for the fall of 2021.
In a press release from the City of Victoria, it was announced that the beloved music festival will be back and will include a new format that spreads the fun around a larger area of downtown Victoria.
Bootfest Returns October 1st & 2nd
Joel Novosad is the director of Victoria's Convention and Visitor's Bureau and hopes "this year's Bootfest can serve as a way for residents to come together and celebrate after a difficult year." Go ahead and block off October 1st and 2nd right now and get ready to come downtown and stomp your boots!
Expect A Different Look for Bootfest 2021
The "new format" the city mentions has much to do with multiple performing areas that will be spread out a bit more than in years past. This will give guests the chance to see more entertainment and even more of downtown Victoria, which will hopefully mean more patrons walking into our local businesses to shop and explore.
The city will announce the entertainment line-up in the coming weeks. You can bookmark the City of Victoria website with this link, and check back in the weeks ahead for additional info. Keep it right here as we will be sure to alert you with our free station app once the entertainment is announced.
Bootfest Needs Vendors
Now that we know the festival will return this October, the city wants to focus on food and merch vendors who want to be a part of the fun. They have made an application available here. The application must be turned back into the city no later than June 30th. You can also contact the CVB at 361-485-3116.
