Another person has made a trip to the ER thanks to the Gorilla challenge.  Len Martin of Louisiana wanted to prove that the video of Tessica Brown was not a serious as she made it seem. Martin could not prove his point as he also found himself making a trip to the Emergency Room.  In a Facebook video seen below, Martin says that he believed he could glue the Red Solo cup to his lip and lick it right off.

As reported by KXAN in Austin, Martin described what the doctor did as “painful peeling.”  Martin also said that he was told if it does not heal correctly, the tip of his lip will have to be taken off via surgery.

“This is not the challenge you want to try,” Martin said. I will also add my don't do it!

The makers of Gorilla Glue have issued a statement:

“Our spray adhesive states in the warning label, “do not swallow, Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing…” It is used for craft, home, auto or office projects to mount things to surfaces such as paper, cardboard, wood, laminate and fabric.”

Tessica Brown, the Louisiana woman whose use of Gorilla Glue has undergone a surgical procedure in Beverly Hills to remove the offending gunk, according to reports.

This is just one of many 'challenges' that social media has brought us over the past few years.  Maybe you remember some of these terrible challenges:

The Tide Pod Challenge:  The one that had kids eating Tide Pods

KiKi Challenge: The one that had people jump out of a moving car and dance alongside while the car drives itself.

The Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge: Teenagers inserted their lips into a shot glass, small jar, or bottle, then suck out the air, creating a vacuum. In hopes of having pouty lips the star.

The Cinnamon Challenge: This challenge is that one films themself eating a spoonful of ground cinnamon in under 60 seconds without drinking anything. YUCK!

Here are a few others you might remember:

Ice Bucket Challenge.

Until Tomorrow Challenge.

The 10 Year Challenge.

The Mannequin Challenge
