How Many Influencers Are From Texas?

It's amazing how much the world can change in such a short time isn't it? How we get our entertainment in the last 10 years is far different from what it was the 10 years prior, and Texas is one of the states trying to lead the way.

It wasn't that long ago that movie and music stars were some of the biggest celebrities on the planet. You could rattle off a movie star and someone could tell you five movies they were in that they loved. Same thing with a lot of music stars.

While music stars have had a little longer staying power than movie stars, we're finding that influencers are beginning to rule the world. People ages 10-21 seem to know more about people they watch on YouTube or TikTok than they do about A-list movie stars.

Music artists that are popular have a tendency to release songs via their channels, and they do it often to stay in the forefront. I've listened to some of this music, mainly because I have a 12 year old who listens to these influencers. Personally, I don't get it. The production is mediocre at best, and lyrically, well let's not even go there.

Because of this, a lot of people have turned to searching about how to become an influencer as a career. Texas is one of the states that seems most excited about the potential for this as a career path.

We checked in at number nine in the most recent study from Kajino when it came to searching for info on how to become an influencer, outpacing other states by 18%.

The way I've viewed influencers over time has changed, that I can say. When it first became a thing and people were running to figure out how to be one, I was confused and almost upset. Then I find out that marketing value reach was over $20 BILLION in 2023, and now I can understand why so many are looking into it.

They definitely have an audience, I mean my oldest kid watches so many different influencers and knows them by name and everything about them...the way we used to know about movie stars. So go get it Texas, let's dominate the influencer market.
