It's that time of year again! It's time for Mariah Carey's 'All I Want for Christmas' to take over the Holidays.  However, one Texas bar is putting a restriction on just how many times Mariah's Christmas classic can play.  A dive bar in Dallas, Stoneleigh P, is prohibiting the song from being played before December. During the month of December, there will be a restriction on playing that song to only one time per night. This letter was taped to the Jukebox...

In the original article that was posted by WHDH, The bar’s general manager, Laura Garrison, told CNN that she doesn’t hate Mariah Carey and she doesn’t hate Christmas, it’s just that the customers play the mega-hit too often and too soon before the holiday. I mean, she is not wrong. “Once we hear those twinkles, we run for the remote,” she said. “It’s really just a button that we press to skip.” A picture of the sign has gained a lot of attention online, including from Mariah Carey. Garrison says the sign is really just a joke that is meant to be funny, and it is!

According to one article, Mariah Carey is estimated to earn between $600,000 to $1 million each December just from royalties of that one song. You will probably also probably see this song back to #1 on the charts again before it is all said a done this Christmas season. This is truly the gift that keeps on giving.
