I consider myself pretty lucky. I have never been the direct victim of any type of robbery, although there was one time my sister and I were eating at a McDonald's Restaurant that was robbed while we were sitting there. It was a scary, almost surreal experience. I can only imagine how vulnerable someone would feel after not just a robbery in a public place, but an invasion robbery in your own home. That's the subject of this week's Victoria Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week.

On January 20, 2016, at 11:46 pm, officers responded to the 1100 block of Warren Avenue in reference to a home invasion robbery. The victim stated that a male subject made entry into the residence looking for a subject who didn’t reside there. The offender is described as an Hispanic male, approximately 6’0”, 215 pounds, with a bald head, and the number 13 tattooed on the top of his head. Both arms were covered with tattoos and he was wearing a maroon bandanna to conceal his face.

If you have information about this person, contact Victoria Crime Stoppers at 361-572-4200. If the information you give to Crime Stoppers leads to an arrest or charges being filed, you can earn a cash reward up to $ 10,000.00.

Crime Stoppers pays.
