Victoria Crime Stoppers Wednesday’s Wanted

Victoria Crime Stoppers has been pretty busy lately, and with your help, the program continues to have success. Wednesday's wanted features a convenience store armed robbery that took place early yesterday morning.

At around 4:30 am, a man robbed a convenience store on the 5600 Block of US Hwy 77 South.

The man entered the store and threatened the attendants with a handgun. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the scene. The suspect is a heavy-set black male and was wearing black gloves, a wide-brimmed hat and a bandana to hide his face.

Detectives with the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office are investigating and request that anyone with information contact Victoria Crime Stoppers at 572-4200.  All tips are anonymous and if you give information that leads to arrest or indictment, you could earn a cash reward.
