Xelencia Returns With New Single ‘Voy Olvidarme de Ti”
It's been a while since we heard anything from David De Anda. Well, now the wait is over. David DeAnda has just dropped a brand new single from Xelencia, "Voy Olvidarme de Ti," and it is straight heat.
The new single brings back that unique Xelencia flow.
The new single gives us the iconic Xelencia sound that made them the Tejano Powerhouse they became. It has the big sound of the horns mixed with the accordion alongside that familiar Xelencia flow. The song debuted this afternoon and is now trending on KLUB Tejano 106.9.

David De Anda has more music on the way soon.
I was able to speak with David DeAnda yesterday, and he told me that he is "currently working on new music, which will include some Conjunto music." His latest release shows that David is still a force in Tejano music.
Xelencia last performed in Victoria in March 2025 for KLUB Tejano's Birthday Bash.
Last year, Xelencia performed alongside Ricardo Castillon Y La Diferenzia for the KLUB Birthday Bash. It was great to have Xelencia back in Victoria after all of these years. I remember the first time I saw Xelencia perform in Victoria at Roberto's Cocktails on Navarro. At the time, his drummer was a 12 or 13 year old kid by the name of Joey JMZ Jimenez.
We will be chatting with David in the next couple of weeks to find out about new music and what he has been up to. Be sure you keep it tuned to KLUB Tejano 106.9
