David Lee Garza and Massore Announced for Barbacoa and Big Red Festival
The Barbacoa and Big Red Festival is back for 2025! This has become a staple in San Antonio. What is more San Antonio than enjoying a barbacoa taco while drinking Big Red? This year's festival will take place October 11 and 12 at the Freeman Coliseum Grounds and Expo Hall.
The entertainment lineup is announced one at a time and will continue leading up to the event. Here is what we know so far: David Lee Garza Y Los Musicales and Erick Y Su Grupo Massore will perform. Also included in the lineup with be an eclectic mix of 80s, 90s, country, Texas country, and Tejano music. Details about the lineup will be periodically added to the festival's official website as we get closer to October.
Of course, this event will come along with awesome food trucks, and family fun and the star of the show, barbacoa and Big Red. Many different variations of Barbacoa will be available including my favorite barbacoa taco with cilantro and onion on a homemade corn tortilla paired with a homemade lemonade. There will be many different vendors offering fair foods and refreshing drinks.
