Family of Missing Texas State Student Offer $10,000 Reward
The news of Texas State student Jason Landry's disappearance first broke back in December of 2020 after authorities found his vehicle wrecked along the roadside in Luling, Texas. His family and friends are now offering a $10,000 reward for information about what happened.
If you travel to Austin you are likely very familiar with the small town of Luling, Texas, which sits next to Lockhart and the beginning of the Tollroad that leads you to the Capital. On the evening of December 13th, Landry is believed to have been traveling late at night from the city of New Braunfels to his parent's home in Missouri City, Texas. After months of tracking his movements, authorities say the trail goes cold in Luling where Landry's vehicle was found wrecked along the 2300 block of Salt Flat Road according to KHOU.com.

Help Authorities Pick up the Trail
The clues to Jason's whereabouts that evening stop cold in Luling. Other than his wrecked vehicle police have no additional information to continue their search. The Caldwell County Sheriff's Office has set up a helpline for the case. you can reach that number by calling 512-398-6777. Jason's movements that evening were tracked by looking at the data on his phone as he was using the Waze mapping app for most of his trip. According to the Sherriff's report, Jason stopped using Waze and switched to Snapchat as he continued through town. Police found his vehicle around 12:31 a.m. It remains unclear who Jason was in contact with on Snapchat or if that activity had anything to do with the car accident or his disappearance.
