It's been another eventful day for changes in Victoria.  Here is the latest information regarding cancellations, business hour changes, and date changes in the Crossroads.

VISD has suspended face-to-face classes.  Teachers will have time to prepare the week of March 23-27 and on Monday, March 30th, all learning materials will be offered to students via packets and online instruction.  Get more information below.

Private Schools: St. Joseph High School, Our Lady of Victoria, Trinity Episcopal, Nazareth Academy and Faith Academy will extend spring break through the week of March 23-27.  Update about returning to class will be released next week.

Victoria College has extended it's Spring Break.  On Monday, March 30, students will resume all classes online or through alternative formats, allowing them to complete their coursework from any location. Students will not be attending class on campus until further notice.

UHV is extending its spring break through Tuesday, March 24.  Beginning Wednesday, March 25, all UHV and UHV Katy classes will move to online only through the end of the spring semester.

The University of Houston-Victoria spring 2020 athletic season has come to an end.  The  NAIA announced it was canceling the spring 2020 sports season effective immediately.

The Mission Valley Volunteer Fire Department Annual BBQ Chicken has been postponed

Wild About Wine has been postponed until June 12th.

Mayor Rawley McCoy and Judge Ben Zeller ask that the community adheres to the CDC guidelines of gatherings of 10 or less over the next 14 days and gatherings of 50 or less over the 8 weeks.  You can get more information about the press briefing here or you can watch the press conference here.

Some restaurant in the Victoria have closed their dining rooms and will continue drive-thru services

As of 8:30 P.M. on 3/17/2020 there are ZERO confirmed COVID-19 cases in Victoria County.
