Texas Judge’s Punishment is To Finish Law School for Drug Offender
In a story that comes to us from the Texas Valley, a judge is going viral for his out-of-the-box punishment. As reported KXAN, a special condition to her supervised release, a woman was ordered by a Texas judge to finish law school after being arrested on charges of conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
According to the article, Chelsea, Madill was sentenced on January 9th to a sentence of three years with one of the conditions being that she MUST complete an educational program that will allow her to receive a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree. As part of a plea agreement, Madill pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute narcotics. She was actually deep into a drug trafficking organization from Mexico.
