As reported by Tejano Nation. According to a video shared on social media with the group’s lead vocalist Óscar Iván Treviño, Flores sustained damage to four vertebrae in his lower spine and underwent surgery on Sunday. His current condition is described as “a little more stable.” Meanwhile, Torres suffered injuries to his left side and shoulder and is now recovering at home.

In a statement that resonated with fans, Treviño expressed gratitude for what he deemed a miraculous turn of events: “God definitely performed a miracle this weekend due to the severity of the accident, and the boys are now a little more stable, which is the most important thing.” We send our prayers for a full recovery.

Duelo has a loyal following across Texas and beyond. The group’s origins trace back to Roma, a small town near the Rio Grande. Their electrifying performances at venues across the U.S. and Mexico have left an indelible mark on the Tejano music scene.

The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo announced that La Mafia, the legendary Tejano group from Houston, Texas, would replace Grupo Duelo as the headliner for the Noche Del Vaquero show on Sunday night. The next tour dates for Duelo are scheduled for March 1 in Waco and March 2 in Austin at the Besame Mucho Festival.
