Key Houston Texans Players Limited in Practice
As the NFL season winds down, teams are facing injury issues as players have taken a beating along the way, and the Houston Texans are no exception.
Although they haven't been placed in the injured reserve list, Texans stars including running back Lamar Miller, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, and defensive back J.J. Watt were limited in practice yesterday. Both Miller and Hopkins suffered ankle injuries, Hopkins stayed in the game Sunday and caught a TD pass to with the game. The other Texans who were limited yesterday are offensive guard Zach Fulton (hand), wide receiver Keke Coutee (hamstring), cornerback Johnathan Joseph (hip), guard Senio Kelemete (elbow-rib), cornerback Kareem Jackson (knee), safety Andre Hal (ankle), defensive lineman Brandon Dunn (ankle) and safety Mike Tyson (concussion).
According to a published report in the Houston Chronicle, Alfred Blue would get the start at running back if Lamar Miller can't play, and the Texans are also expecting running back D'Onta Forman to be activated this weekend.
The Texans are the #2 seed in the AFC Playoffs, and they travel to Philadelphia to play the Eagles on Sunday. Pregame begins at 11:30 on KLUB Classic Rock 106.9.
